Helekuta, the traditional kota of Isokenkäisten Klubi, offers a warm and magical atmosphere in the heart of nature. A welcoming fire and your guide greet guests upon arrival, inviting them to relax on reindeer-hide-covered stools while enjoying a welcome drink and hearing stories about the history and traditions of Isokenkäisten Klubi.

The meal begins with seasonal fish caught from local waters and prepared over an open fire. The main course is a hearty reindeer soup served with accompaniments, inspired by northern food traditions and made with local ingredients.

For dessert, guests enjoy traditional Finnish French toast served with wild berries and whipped cream. The experience concludes with coffee brewed over an open fire while the guide shares stories about local food culture, life in Kuusamo and everyday traditions of the region.

The Arctic Lunch combines traditional flavours, local stories and the peaceful atmosphere of northern nature into a memorable dining experience in the wilderness.

The experience lasts approximately 1.5 hours and is available for private groups by advance reservation.
