The Club’s Special Menu at Isokenkäisten Klubi in Kuusamo, in the Ruka-Kuusamo region of northern Finland, offers a traditional four course dining experience inspired by the food heritage of Kuusamo and Lapland.

Served in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of Restaurant Klubi, the dinner combines authentic northern flavours, local ingredients and stories from the eastern border region. During the evening, hostesses Sirpa and Katja share insights into local life, traditions and food culture, making the experience more than just a dinner.

The menu begins with a glass of sparkling wine and continues with a selection of traditional starters, including raw pickled salmon, cold smoked fish, forest mushrooms and local specialities prepared with care and homemade touches. 

The experience continues with Klubi Borscht served with sour cream, followed by a traditional Beef Stroganoff main course with potato coins, pickled gherkins and lingonberries. Dessert is served with forest berry cake, coffee and tea, accompanied by fresh breads and house spreads. We always use seasonal ingredients, which may bring small changes to the menu. 

Set beside the peaceful wilderness of Lake Heikinjärvi, the experience combines local cuisine, northern traditions and a relaxed atmosphere in the heart of Ruka-Kuusamo.

The Club’s Special Menu is available for private groups with a minimum size of eight people. Advance booking is required.
