Isokenkäisten Klubi offers a unique setting for celebrations, meetings and special dining experiences in the wilderness of Kuusamo. From intimate family occasions to larger parties and company meetings, we can help you plan the whole event with suitable spaces, delicious food, accommodation and activities.
Restaurant Klubi offers space for larger groups, while smaller gatherings can be arranged in our more intimate spaces or in the traditional Lappish hut. Complete your visit with local food, outdoor activities or an authentic Finnish smoke sauna experience.
Please note that during the peak winter season, it may not be possible to reserve a completely private space for your group.
Meetings
Meetings and company events in the wilderness
At Isokenkäisten Klubi, there is space and time to concentrate on the things that matter. We can take care of the practical arrangements for your meeting, including meeting facilities, meals, activities, accommodation and, when required, transportation.
For smaller meetings, the upstairs meeting room accommodates up to 10 people and offers views over Lake Heikinjärvi. The ground-floor conference room accommodates up to 40 people. Our indoor meeting spaces are equipped with modern meeting technology and wireless internet access.
A meeting day does not have to be spent entirely around a table. Break up the programme with outdoor activities in the surrounding wilderness, team activities or a meal together at Restaurant Klubi.
Your meeting programme can also include accommodation, breakfast, lunch, afternoon coffee, dinner and a traditional smoke sauna experience.
Depending on the season, additional activities can include team activities, snowshoeing, ice fishing and snowmobile safaris, with further experiences available through our local partners.

Celebrate surrounded by the nature of Kuusamo
Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, family gatherings and other important occasions can all be celebrated at Isokenkäisten Klubi.
The main hall at Restaurant Klubi provides space for larger celebrations, with dining for around 80 guests. Smaller celebrations can be arranged in our other spaces or in the traditional Lappish hut.
Food is an important part of every celebration at Klubi. Our meals are prepared using fresh Finnish ingredients and local products, with menus planned to suit the occasion. We are also happy to help with the practical arrangements, from choosing the menu to decorations and activities. The surrounding nature provides a beautiful setting in every season.
Accommodation and activities can also be arranged as part of your celebration. Our award-winning Seven Star Smoke Sauna offers a memorable way to spend time together before or after your meal.
Restaurant Klubi, the smoke sauna and the Lappish hut are licensed to serve alcoholic beverages. Please note that guests are not permitted to bring their own alcohol.
Theme Dinners
Seasonal Group Dining Experiences in Kuusamo
At Isokenkäisten Klubi, theme dinners bring people together around good food, local traditions and the changing seasons of northern Finland.
Throughout the year, we organise special dinners inspired by the season and local traditions. In autumn, hunting season and the flavours of the harvest provide inspiration for seasonal dinners. In winter, the snow-covered forests create a special setting for Christmas dinners, Christmas pre-parties and New Year dinners. Other themed dining experiences can be arranged throughout the year according to the season and your group.
Our menus are prepared using fresh Finnish ingredients and local products, with flavours inspired by the food traditions of Kuusamo and the north. We can tailor the menu and dining experience to suit the needs and wishes of your group and help create the right setting for your theme dinner.
A theme dinner can be combined with other experiences at Isokenkäisten Klubi, such as the Seven Star Smoke Sauna, activities or an overnight stay.
Restaurant Klubi, the smoke sauna and the Lappish hut are licensed to serve alcoholic beverages. All meals are lactose-free. Please let us know about any special dietary requirements when making your reservation.
